Our Federal Government Client is seeking an experienced and strategic Data Scientist. The successful candidate will play an integral part in developing a client pathways report. This is an initial 6 month contract and is working in Canberra's South.
As the Data Scientist you will be working in small team to deliver advanced analytics output for business stakeholders. The work will involve creating analytical solutions that identify relationships between services the government provides that weren't previously able to be identified.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Experience with R, Python, SQL, Git, Spark or transferrable skills
- Experience in Statistical Modelling
- The ability to translate complex data sets into a consumable format for stakeholders
- Data science-related qualifications or equivalent experience in applying statistical models, algorithms, and machine learning techniques to datasets
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizens who currently hold Federal Government Security Clearances to apply.
