Data / Reporting Analyst
- Initial 2-month contract
- Strong PowerBI & SQL
- Azure platform experience preferable
A highly reputed client is seeking an experienced Data/ Reporting Analyst for an initial 2 month contract that may extend. We are seeking strong experience in the design & development of reports and dashboards using technologies including PowerBI & SQL.
Responsibilities include:
- Creation of data models & business intelligence reports/dashboards
- Develops data models, SSIS packages and business intelligence reports
- Dashboard administration
- Developing and executing test plans in relation to function and performance of reports and dashboards
- Writes, maintains and improves technical documentation and procedures
- Writes SQL queries to extract data from SQL Server
- Writes SSRS reports
Key skills:
- Strong experience in the design and development of reports and dashboards
- Must have proven Power BI Tool and SQL writing skills
- Advanced Microsoft SQL and Reporting Services skills (experience in creating Table, Function, Stored Procedure and using T-SQL)
- Azure data platform (preferable)
- Data Modelling Experience, design and implement complex, multi-step ETLs using SSIS or other ETL tools, pulling from multiple source systems and source types
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Conceptual, analytical & design skills;
- Understanding of data sources, modelling skills, analysis technologies & methodologies;
