Our Client:
Our client is a Federal Government Agency who are responsible for delivering contemporary technology solutions. They are currently seeking for a Data Modeller on a Full-time basis for their Enterprise, solutions and technology stream within their Architecture and Design Capability.
In this role, you will apply best practice data modelling standards, practices, techniques, and methodologies to create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to achieve continuity in enterprise data architecture. You will capture and model data requirements, data definitions as well as data mappings to ensure data accuracy and integrity across applications and platforms. You will contribute to the development and evolution of the Enterprise Data Model to provide a holistic view of our corporate data holdings.
As this role is within the Federal Government, it is a requirement that the successful candidate be an Australian Citizen and obtain a baseline security clearance.
Success for this role will rely on the individual's ability to be able to work in a highly dynamic environment, good cultural fit, and their ability to challenge and drive thinking in new directions.
About you:
To be successful for the role, you will need the following:
- Has familiarity with or a proven ability to quickly acquire the skills and knowledge to use data modelling tools and data technologies such as Enterprise Architect Sparx, SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata and DB2 / UDB
- Possesses knowledge of data architecture and data modelling, including data structure, data operation, data management and governance
- Analyses and designs conceptual and logical data models to translate business requirements into data solutions
