Our client, Victorian State Government Agency is looking for Data Migration Specialist ideally working knowledge of Salesforce data models to join their teams for an initial 12 months + extensions.
The primary responsibility of the Data Migration Specialist is to analyse existing data sets and the methods of transforming existing data into a format for the new environment.
The Data Migration Specialist will be accountable for the profiling, cleansing, mapping and migration (loading) of data from existing applications (Microsoft Dynamics) into other database structures (Salesforce).
Skills & Experience:
- Working knowledge of the Salesforce data model, data migration strategies for large data volumes across multiple legacy and cloud applications is preferable
- 7 years' ++ experience developing database applications in PL/SQL using triggers, packages, functions, procedures, and complex SQL
- SQL query tuning using different tools with clear understanding of query plan
- Perform data migration audit, reconciliation, and exception reporting
- Advanced MS SQL server experience
- Advanced SSIS experience including working knowledge of API integrations with MS dynamics and salesforce using SSIS 3rd party products
- Extensive experience as a technical lead in MS SQL Server/SSIS based data migration projects
