About the Company:
Our client is a leading organization within the Telecommunications domain. They are looking for a Data Management Lead & Data Management Specialist to work within their Data Management Platform team.
About the role:
This is a permanent opportunity.
Both the roles report into the Associate Director of Data Application and Management Delivery.
Responsibilities:
1. Data Management Lead:
- Delivery-oriented data professional who can work with stakeholders to understand the needs and mature data management capabilities
- Lead development activities on Data Management initiatives and work closely with partners, testing and multiple squads in DPM tribe
- Help with Data Governance and Medata & Cloud Data Management
2. Data Management Specialist:
- Build and configure the DM tools, data quality mappings by profiling data to standardize, cleanse and enhance the quality and visualise the DQ results through reports and dashboards
- Help in adoption and be advocate for entire end-to-end DM tools and processes across DPM and enterprise-wide applications/systems
- Responsible for correctness of the code/configurations adhering to solution design and meeting business requirements
Skills and experience for both roles:
- Proficient in Data Governance and management tools and end to end data flow
- Understand the data lifecycle for critical data elements and the metadata associated, including their names and definitions
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills with a passion for championing change
- Metadata Management using Informatica Data Management tools (AXON, EDC, Secure@Source) or equivalent
- Proven Knowledge with using big data platforms (e.g. Cloudera) and relational databases (e.g. Teradata) including knowledge of SQL
- Tableau, Power BI, Cognos BI or equivalent Analytics/Reporting tools
