About the role

The Asst. Director Data Loss Prevention (DLP) will support the OCIO in the delivery of a Data Loss Prevention Strategy and associated DLP Plan to provide information surety and reduce risk to the client and its Participants. The Team Lead DLP will be required to support and contribute to the protection of the Agency's systems, information and environment with a focus on investigation and assisting Scheme Integrity to support Client's objectives.


Responsibilities

  • The role requires someone who understands DLP information protection technology from both a managerial/strategic level and hands on technical design and implementation.
  • The candidate will be required to provide oversight and SME input to DLP tools that support the Information Protection strategy, objectives and operational requirements.
  • Drive ICT collaboration and adoption of the tools, ensuring OCIO is trained and BAU processes are in place to
  • Provide SME input into DLP reporting.
  • Input to the setting of the Information Protection Strategy, ensuring the IP Tooling approach supports delivery.
  • Oversight the ongoing maintenance of the IT governance arrangements relating to DLP

Skills and Experience:

Essential Criteria

  • Experience in Data Loss Prevention Strategy development or the development and delivery of a Data Loss Prevention Plan.
  • The ability to work with limited supervision and to quickly gain knowledge of in a range of technologies

Desirable criteria:

  • Tertiary qualifications or industry certifications and a minimum of five years' experience in a cyber security related field (Azure/AWS, Splunk Certified)
  • Experience with data loss prevention products and their implementation.
  • Experience with data protection in the Cloud
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
