Our client a leader in its field is looking for a Data Engineer to join its IT team. As the Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining high-performing and secure modern data solutions. You will be responsible for building, running and supporting on premise and cloud based platforms including batch and real time workloads and data flows in a large complex environment.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a data engineer or related role
- Highly proficient in data modelling and data analysis
- Good Knowledge of modern data architectures including Cloud native technologies
- Expert in designing and implementing data solutions and ETL processes to meet business requirements
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience in Python or Java programming
- High degree of knowledge in data structures and data architecture
- Experience working in DevOps and Agile environments, as well as continuous integration
