The role:
As part of the Cyber Security team, you will deliver threat and vulnerability management services to the organisation as part of a large digital transformation program. You can expect to provide security insights, guidance, and expertise by leveraging your cyber experience, security technologies, industry best practice and threat intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and operate the Cyber Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management capability including Cloud, and Operational Technology environments.
- Bring knowledge and implement Information Security principles and practices across infrastructure and applications
- Articulate complex ideas, approach, concepts, options, risks, impacts, and business value to technical and business stakeholders in a consultative approach
Skills and Experience:
- 5 years+ experience in the Cyber security field
- Vulnerability Management and/or Cyber Threat Intelligence experience in a large complex organisation
- Intelligence experience collecting, analysing, and/or producing CTI (including the ability to review large data sets to derive analytical conclusions and produce clear and concise findings)
- Experience with Vulnerability Management solutions such as Qualys, Crowdstrike, Tenable
- Good understanding of concepts such as the intelligence cycle, Diamond Model, Cyber Kill Chain, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework as well as patching requirements against various operating systems and applications.
- Broad understanding of IT Security principles associated with networks, internet, email, operating systems, firewalls, VPN's, databases, virus management, intrusion detection, cryptography, and ecommerce
