Our client, a Global Resources Company are looking for a Cyber Security Assurance Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis in Brisbane CBD.
Reporting to the Manager of Cyber Security Assurance, you will:
- Be involved in the design, implementation and delivery of Cyber Technical Assurance services designed to safeguard the company's Operational Technology assets.
- Develop and maintain business-relevant metrics and dashboards to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of Cyber Security Assurance services
- Be involved in the continuous improvement of Cyber Security Assurance by ensuring:
- Firewalls and other Security appliances are configured securely and risks are responded to in a timely manner
- Vulnerabilities in systems and software are identified and remediated plans are established and tracked to finalisation
- EndPoint security controls are reported on and tracked on a hub and global basis
- Work with Cyber teams to evaluate new IT technology and determine their appropriateness for the Product Group - focussing on how the company can maintain technical assurance over the product lifecycle
- Work with other Cyber teams in project design and delivery of how new security controls are integrated into current toolsets and processes to deliver secure operation
- Monitor operational security posture and identify compliance issues and risks for escalation with service owners or risk management functions
The Skills:
- Strong Cyber operational process knowledge and experience (Firewalls, Patching, AV etc)
- Ability to articulate technical Cyber Security solutions and their benefits
- Degree qualified or higher in IT, Engineering or Cyber Security
- Certifications like GCIA, GCIH and CISSP
- Experience in SIEM toolsets (ie Splunk)
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders, in multiple regions / time zones
- Experience in vendor and stakeholder management
