About the role

This role is responsible for defensive measures and information collected from a variety of sources to identify, analyse, and report events that occur or might occur within the network to protect information, information systems, and networks from threats. You will be working within a team of bright and outcome focussed individuals that are collaborative and easy to get along with. Work with some highly regarded professionals in the cyber space and under leadership that is inspiring and supportive.

Skills and experience

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, information technology, computer science or related industry qualifications and experience in a similar role.
  • Cyber Security qualifications, e.g. CISSP, GSEC, GCIH, GCFA.
  • Demonstrated sound experience with stakeholder management and engagement at all levels.
  • Highly evident communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Proven experience in adapting to new technologies.
  • Demonstrated skills in problem solving.
  • Proven skills in exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience in quickly adapting to new technologies.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience working within a SOC.
  • IBM QRadar
  • Microsoft Defender & other O365/Azure Security technologies
  • Symantec WSS, Email Cloud Gateway
  • Darktrace
  • Tenable Vulnerability Management
