Our Federal Government Client is seeking a talented Communications Officer for an initial engagement until June 30, 2020 with long term extension options available. The successful candidate will evaluate, develop or revise processes and reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of our client's communications. This role is to be worked from our Clients based offices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing and implementing high quality communications plans
- Producing and/or coordinating the production of quality and timely communications products and services including (but not limited to):
- Intranet and extranet content
- Newsletters, posters, handbook
- Presentations, infographics, speeches and publications
- Media responses
- Evaluating, developing or revising processes and reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of communications
- Undertaking ongoing work including (but not limited to) coordinating special projects when required
The successful candidate will possess:
- Previous demonstrated experience of providing services as a Communications Officer
- Previous demonstrated skills as a Communications Officer
- The ability to build effective relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain an AGSVA security clearance to apply.
