My client, a well respected Australian Government organisation is looking to bring on a Communication and Training Lead - Business Finance, to help them in the wake of a merger and significant change in technology.

Key Accountabilities

  • Map out communication and training plans in support of the project
  • Design and develop communication and training programs (outsourced and/or in-house)
  • Select appropriate communication and training methods or activities
  • Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions
  • Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Design and prepare communication, educational aids and materials
  • Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design
  • Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
  • Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts

Relevant Experience:

  • Extensive experience in financial business analysis in a large infrastructure environment, preferably in government
  • Proven experience in monitoring business process performance with strong understanding of best practices and key business drivers.
  • Demonstrated experience driving business communication and training process changes and in managing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in Financel Control (FICO), Budgeting Planning anc Consolidation (BPC) and Program Project Management Project System (PPM/PS) modules within SAP.
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance and/or business information systems related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of Finance Business processes and its compliance requirements
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management and Change Management skills
