Our client is looking for a Cognos Developer to work on large project. This is for a leading consultancy onsite with a bank.
Experience and skills required:
- 5 to 7 years Total Experience for lead / 2 - 3 for Developer
- At least 5 years with at least last 2 projects in Cognos BI
- Cognos BI Lead Developers are Cognos professionals who can Design & build the data logic, information data model and interfaces for Cognos Reports & dashboards.
- Perform development activities from gathering requirements and designing solutions, through developing code / reports, to testing and release / deployment.
- Gather Requirements from customer to understand number of Reports/Dashboard/KPI/Metrics/Visualization/Events to be developed.
- Design, build, test and debug Cognos BI solutions based upon specified requirements
- Collaborate with end users, project stakeholders and support partners to identify needs, goals, and business models.
- Take the ownership of the activities
- Experience with the design and development of Cognos BI visualization solutions (RAVE & D3 Visualization)
- Experience in Framework Manager, Transformer, Dynamic Cube Development
- Data security Implementation and Advanced Reporting & Performance Optimization Experience.
- Data acquisition and manipulations skills in SQL-compliant or other data sources.
