Role- Technical Support - Cloud

Brisbane CBD based

Initial 12 months + potential 12 months extensions

Day rate, Flexible work arrangements

Due to security clearance requirements Australian Citizens are only eligible for this role

About the role

The Level 2 Cloud Support Technician will provide operational support for the organisation's platforms and applications.

Responsibilities

  • Support the ITC service desk as a point of escalation
  • Investigate complex technical problems
  • Provide technical support for the organisation's applications and platforms
  • Engage with end users directly to provide technical solutions
  • Utilise monitoring tools to discern and report possible technical issues
  • Work in an Agile environment to complete application operation tasks

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated experience working in technical support roles
  • Demonstrated experience working within cloud-based environments (Azure, AWS),
  • Experience working with monitoring tools such as Splunk/ CloudWatch /Dynatrace & supporting SAAS products
  • Knowledge of container/Kubernetes based environments
  • Basic understanding of DevOps / software development lifecycle principles
