Our client a leader in its field is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager with cloud experience to lead a large-scale migration project. In this role you will define, structure and automate migration to cloud. The ideal candidate will have extensive range of cloud migration experience.
Responsibilities will include:
- Plan projects to provide estimates, baseline time/cost and resource requirements
- Produce project documentation
- Project Communication
- Control project to ensure it remains within budget, on time and with agreed quality.
- Manage project issues and risks with mitigation planning.
- Manage project quality. Ensure that all documentation including requirements, project plan, design documents, migration plans, test plans and test results and are clearly defined, complete and signed off to ensure project quality success.
- Provide project status reports
- Lead Steering Committee meetings
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Degree in IT or relevant discipline
- Previous experience as a Project Manager
- At least 3 years' experience working on Cloud projects
- Knowledge of Virtualization Platforms (VMWARE)
- Cloud Computing and Storage (AWS, Azure)
- Cloud Management Platforms
- Excellent Communication Skill
