About the role:
- Define and operate the secure cloud environments upon which our development teams and customers depend upon
- Involves network and systems administration, infrastructure management, security, and compliance, SRE and much more
- Modernise older environments - recent parts of the platform are built with the latest technologies
- By leveraging modern cloud tooling and industry best practices, we aim to reduce complexity for the product team, enabling them to ship software in a fast, reliable, and secure manner
- The company is in a regulated industry and the platform is issued by thousands of merchants to get paid and manage their businesses
Experience
- Strong understanding of information security
- Experience in designing, implementing, and administering secure, scalable, and resilient networks
- Strong understanding of AWS and the services and capabilities it provides
- Experience working with SIEM/SOAR systems
- Experience administering Windows and Linux servers
- Experience in PCI-DSS and/or ISO 27001 (beneficial)
- Experience in the financial domain (beneficial)
- Experience with IaC, i.e., CloudFormation or Terraform (beneficial)
- Experience with ECS/Kubernetes
- Experience with Wazuh or other threat detection systems
