Peoplebank are recruiting an Organisational Change Manager to work on a new, large and complex program working in Adelaide.

This role will be offered as an initial 6 month contract, but with a strong chance of renewals into 2023.

Please note, some onsite presence in Adelaide is required, but flexible hybrid working is fine.

Working closely with the Program leads and the wider project teams, the Change Manager is responsible for leading, designing and delivering the change management strategy to realise program, project and business benefits and deliver value for Phase 1 of Program.

Indeed, as a Change Specialist, you will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job rules and organisation structures.

You will be required to engage closely with the technology teams and multiple 3rd party suppliers as well as leaders across the business, in order to understand their business, identify the barriers to change and develop a detailed strategy and approach to address the needs of our people.

  • Interface with the ITIL Change Management teams


Skills and Experience required

  • Extensive experience in developing and executing change management strategies on a medium scale IT / technology project with some complex stakeholders
  • Experience facilitating workshops with large groups of stakeholders to meet an outcome
  • Solid understanding of change management frameworks, practices and techniques
  • Demonstrable understanding of technology change processes and what impacts to consider resulting from technology changes
  • Displays positive team attitude and willingness to help wherever possible.
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal), presentation, facilitation, relationship management and teaming skills, including the ability to develop productive working relationships
  • Experience with ITIL Change Management, and ability to understand and managed how program technical changes (RFCs) will impact our users from an Organisational Change perspective.
  • Experience and knowledge of OCM principles, methodologies and tools
  • Experience facilitating workshops with large groups of stakeholders to meet an outcome
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal as well as active listening skills
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills
  • Change management certification
  • Previous experience in Government is highly desirable
