Our North of the River client is looking to engage a part time (2-3 days a week) Change Manager to support the existing team. It will be a 4 month initial contract to commence early January.

The role:

The Business Change manager will oversee the business activities of change management and will be responsible for broader stakeholders' engagement and communication.

Duties will include:

  • Planning, development, execution, and monitoring of change plan and activities including communications, training, stakeholder management, change impact assessment, business readiness analysis, gap analysis and change reinforcement.
  • Defining project benefits (benefits-focused), assess progress towards realising and achieving measured improvements in business operations.
  • Managing multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Implementing organisational-wide change activities with an expert ability to influence and coach people including senior stakeholders through all stages of the change.
  • Focusing on people side of change, including changes to associated business processes, policies, systems and technology. Ensuring users impacted by change will be fully aware of all changes, timings and have taken measures to reduce impact to their work.
  • Work with relevant business areas as their participation will play an integral part to enable changes resulting from the project to be firmly embedded by facilitating change related training and workshops, developing user procedures/manuals/templates, etc.
  • Develop knowledge of the Finance business environment, understanding of management structure and culture to enable successful outcome.
  • Reporting on regular progress updates to senior leadership.
