About the role:
This is a 12-month contract.
The role is based in Parramatta with a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Manage the planning and delivery of projects
- Develop and implement project management plans to ensure the success of the project
- Regularly communicate with key stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are met
- Manage project resources to ensure business objectives are achieved on time and within budget
- Monitor progress of the projects including risks, issues, dependencies and benefits
- Manage and monitor project budget and expenditure
- Complete mandatory project documentation and fulfil record and reporting requirements for the projects
- Participate/facilitate procurement tender process and activities
- Implementing process improvements within the project where necessary
- Overseeing and maintaining detailed and up-to-date incoming and outgoing project documentation
- Project closure
Skills and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex a wide range of information technology projects, telecommunication, infrastructure, network, software, decommissioning, cloud computing, managed service outsourcing and tendering
- Experience working with methodologies like Agile or PRINCE 2
- Ability to successfully prioritise, manage and deliver upon multiple streams of work
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders
- Experience working independently with multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership
- You are self-motivated, decisive and can easily adapt to change and competing demands
- The ability to effectively collate, analyse and represent information received from varied sources
- Confidence leading a diverse team and project delivery resources
- High level of management skills including the ability to lead, plan and mentor to produce high standards of results on budget within tight timeframes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly relevant in translating technical information to non-technical peers and stakeholders
- Ability to have honest and open conversation with the Program Manager regarding the project progress and personal shortcomings
