Our Client:
Our client operates within the Higher Education Sector of New South Wales and they are currently on the look out for a Business Intelligence Report Writer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract. In this role, you will join the SMS Project Team in developing reports using the Ellucian Argos reporting tool.
About the role
You would be involved in:
- Developing new reports from their new SMS ensuring that they meet enterprise-wide Business Intelligence Reporting functionality.
- Design and Develop efficient reporting models to populate and build standard reports/dashboards.
- Plan and lead report development cycle, modelling and other BI tool software upgrades including cross team coordinator.
To be successful for the role, you would ideally:
- Advanced SQL Development and Report Development
- Strong SQL server experience
- Knowledge of Business intelligence reporting tools (Business Objectives, Crystal Reporting)
- Ellucian Banner or Argos knowledge (desirable)
- draw out and analyse business requirements through engaging with end-users, subject-matter experts and business analysts
- understand application functionality, database schemas and database designs
- usea range of applications to extract and prepare data from different data sources to create the data blocks
- Experience in developing reports and dashboards using PL/SQL or TSQL
