Exciting opportunity to be involve in a Business Development Executive/Associate function for a New Digital E-Commerce Marketplace Platform project in a Large Enterprise Organization
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced sales environment
- Knowledge/Working experience with Sales Best practices, B2B or E-Commerce/Online Marketplace platforms
- Background in engaging with wholesale businesses to sign up with company's platform
- Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience/knowledge is a plus
Descripton
- Acquiring new Businesses/customers to sign up for the marketplace platform
- Build Rapport and Adapt the approach depending on target customers/businesses
- Build the customer base by approaching sellers to sign up to the platform
- Be the trailblazer that enables and sets as an example to additional team members as the business ramps up
- Liaise with the team and update managers
- Strong relationship building and familiar with customer success platforms and digital marketplaces would be highly regarded
- Knowledge of best practices for e-commerce solutions
- Maintains customer loyalty, upselling existing customers to new features within the product, fostering long-term relationships with their customers, and ensuring that their customers are achieving the goals they were looking to achieve when purchasing your product.
Responsibility Highlights
- Enable the Company to supply to the wholesalers and list new businesses on Company's delivery platform
- Work on engaging with wholesale businesses to sign up with the company and use its platform
- Salesperson in Customer Success to enable these wholesale distributors to partner with them
- Goal of Company and why they stand out is they enable small groceries and store to use their platform
- Be a part of a wholesale distributor company and provider of platform of many stores
- The company is creating a team that will service the development systems and technology
- Work in the Marketplace for buyers and sellers
- This strategy aims to make it easier for suppliers to sell to stores
- It's the e-commerce hub/platform that will be promoted
Key Responsibilities
- Promotes new digital eCommerce marketplace solution platform so that small and medium business can sign up to it/and partner with the company
- This Platform makes/generates money for those partners
- Enables smaller vendors to have online and marketplace presence
- B2B, Business to Business Structure- Enables the 2 parties to come together helps with invoicing and transaction process through the use of the e-commerce platform that we promote
- Primarily makes Telesales Calls/Initiative, doesn't have to generate leads, but just engage to business, builds relationship/connection to partner with us and sign up with our e-commerce/online marketplace platform
- Explains how the platform works (training will be provided)
- Get the business to buy in and get commission on platform
- Enabling Small and Medium Business to make commission and gaining revenue, for every transaction with the help of the platform
- Once Business Signed Up through their engagements, the contact will be taken over by the Platform Support
Experience
- 3+ years of customer success experience e.g. customer acquisitions, selling products or services to B2B clients and account management (Highly regarded)
- 3+ years of supplier/partner management (Highly regarded)
- Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment
- Experience building and managing Customer Success and Support teams in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with B2B e-Commerce and marketplace solutions (Highly regarded)
