Our client is an organisation with a focus to transform the way they deliver excellence and innovation. We are currently in need of a Business Data Manager / Senior Business Analyst with data and controls experience to undergo a 12 month contract. You will be integral to helping its vision by playing a key role in the delivery of controls analysis for the business. Your expertise will be in business, data governance and risk mitigating controls with a proven experience across complex regulatory programs. Banking / Financial Services Experience reqiured.
Skills and experience include:
- Stakeholder Management and Workshop Facilitation
- Understand, explore and document business and data controls to explore critical gaps analysis
- Work with system specialists and SME's deep diving into controls, quality, completeness and compliance
- Design activities, processes and operating model and artefacts for Data Management
- Agile delivery experience & Project methodologies and management
- Experience from large governance, data and technology risk and regulatory projects (essential)
- Proven Change Management experience
- 5 to 8 years experience as a Senior Business Analyst
- Data Risk Governance and Frameworks
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee the delivery of the data governance program and initiatives
- Lead the implementation of the data governance framework to enhance the business decisions and foster accountability in maintaining data assets
- Maintain and contribute to the ongoing improvement of data governance standards, policies, and procedures to improve stakeholder capability and increase data governance maturity
- Identify processes to manage data consistency and perform data updates to improve data analysis and reporting capabilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and provide recommended solutions
- Assess and identify risks and ensure they are mitigated and accounted for within the data governance program
Selection Criteria Essential:
- Relevant data governance experience within an organisation with complex and large volumes of data
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of data governance policies, standards, and processes
- Demonstrated experience with data governance practices and data integration concepts
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills with proven capability to relate data concepts and technical information to non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather business requirements and provide solutions
