Work on a project that will see you move services from a legacy mainframe into a modern technology platform.

The candidate will have effective stakeholder engagement skills as well as a strong understanding of how business architecture connects in with technical architecture, and how to use this information to inform the capability design and build work.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop the business capability map
  • Work with Patterns, Requirements and Architecture and Design teams to bring together a holistic view and the right information for furthering the design and build of Programme Hub
  • Support relevant analysis of current systems to build a future capability view
  • Identify the relevant services that are aligned to the new Programme Hub capability
  • Work with the Business Analyst team as needed including sharing information as available
  • Work with the Capability Lead to support connection of Programme Hub into the Value
  • Chain, including identification of efficiencies
  • Map strategic goals of Programme Hub back to the business outcomes
  • Support identification of how the Programme Hub capability will work across internal and external government facing clients

Required Skills & Experience

  • The individual requires 5+ years of experience in a Business Architect or Senior Business Analyst that has been working in an equivalent role.
  • Previous experience in creating a capability framework for an entirely new product and system.
  • Previous experience working with Business Analyst teams to support requirements identification and build to support the delivery of a new product and system.
  • Previous experience in analysing the technical architecture view and overlaying the capability requirements, including highlighting gaps and requirements for organisational structure when in BAU.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
