POSITION PURPOSE:

This role will work with the Project Manager to drive effective and efficient solutions to technology related business problems and enhancements. The BA will be responsible for gathering business requirements and (in conjunction with management) recommending solutions. They would be required to document policies & processes associated with the projects and will play a key role in stakeholder management.

KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Elicit, validate, and document business requirements (including cost estimations) for technology related improvements
  • Identify issues, risks and benefits of proposed solutions and outline business impacts
  • Collation of data and information required for business reporting
  • Documentation of business process, procedures and policies related new technology enhancement projects
  • Undertake research and analysis to support informed decision making of managements and business owners
  • Liaise with & manage various stakeholders and teams (Internal & External)
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing and technical Quality Assurance tasks
  • Assist in ensuring relevant compliance and governance measures are met during all initiatives
  • Assist in initiative triage and prioritisation based on business need and budget

PERSON SPECIFICATION

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATIONAL PROFILE:

  • Tertiary Qualifications/diploma in business, Technology, or related field (preferred)

SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:

  • Excellent communication & report writing skills
  • Ability to problem solve with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to elicit information from various stakeholders
  • Proven experience in problem solving and critical thinking
  • Attention to details and a high degree of accuracy while working towards multiple competing objectives
  • Strong working knowledge in Microsoft applications and process mapping software
  • to learn and adapt to systems
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various projects/tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and structure workloads
  • Confidence building relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholder
