Overview of proposed project

This role requires the candidate to have in depth understanding of functional architecture and design of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 HANA systems and/or other cloud based (SaaS) human resources and payroll solutions across one or more of the following capabilities:

  • Recruitment,
  • Onboarding,
  • Learning management,
  • Employee performance management,
  • Employee management, and
  • Payroll

In past roles, the candidate should have designed and implemented human resources and payroll solutions in either a green-field or landscape transformation implementation, and for on-premises or cloud deployment scenarios.

This role will utilise extensive industry best practice business processes, functional and technical knowledge, as well as proven solution implementation experience.

Functional / Business Analyst - The Hire to Retire Lifecycle will be responsible for analysing, designing and documenting future state business process maps, requirements and relevant documentation of the Hire to Retire Lifecycle of the GovERP Whole of Government template solution.

Responsibilities:

The Hire to Retire Lifecycle Systems Functional / Business Analyst will:

  • Participate and gather information through value stream workshops.
  • Working with the lead software build team, identify product modifications and integrations to meet the requirements and update end to end process maps appropriately.
  • Participate and contribute to the design of the Hire to Retire value stream solution template.
  • Participate and conduct user acceptance testing (as required).
  • Monitor change impacts and enable smoother transition.
  • Document procedure documents as part of knowledge transfer activities.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and report to the Value Stream Delivery Manager as appropriate.

To be successful in the role you will possess:

  • 5+ Years demonstrated Functional / Business Analyst experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 HANA systems and/or other cloud based human resources and payroll solutions, in several of the following capabilities:
    • Recruitment,
    • Onboarding,
    • Learning management,
    • Employee performance management,
    • Employee management, and
    • Payroll
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Federal or State Government Hire to Retire lifecycle business processes.
  • Ability to provide functional solutions within the Hire to Retire value stream including analysis and documenting business requirements, development configuration and testing, and supporting the delivery to the business during the preparation and implementation phases of the project
