Our Client:
Our client is part of a larger hardware corporation and they are currently in the process of hiring a Business Analyst (Master Data Management) on an initially 12-month contract. In this role, you would be working as part of their IT systems team who are currently transitioning various business units onto a new ERP system.
About the role
You would be involved in:
- Source current Data requirements, Governance and Processes across multiple businesses for analysis
- Building / Maintaining Master Data Register to create unified data compliance across businesses
- Develops an in-depth understanding of current & proposed business processes.
- Provides sound & practical advice to the business to introduce efficiencies through the implementation of systems and / or streamlined business processes.
- Works collaboratively with business and IT team members to deliver practical systems solutions that meet agreed business objectives.
- Project Management - Ensures smooth introduction of new systems / enhancements.
- Co-ordinates activities across multiple parties (internal & external).
To be successful for the role, you would ideally:
- Has provided effective support of live systems (could have been on a part time basis) and can show examples of successfully diagnosing complex problems and implementing solutions to address them.
- Demonstrated experience in being the key conduit between the business and IT on a significant change initiative.
- Demonstrated experience in formulating and delivering end user documentation / training.
- Technical skills in systems development (e.g. writing SQL Statements)
- Demonstrated experience in the design, implementation & support of complex enterprise IT systems and digital commerce channels.
