Acting as the business analyst should be able to gather requirements for various projects and provide ongoing support to the project team to ensure requirements are satisfactorily delivered.
- Gather and understand technical requirements through meetings and workshops with other groups impacted by the project
- Assist in documenting the requirements and review to ensure they are complete
- Proficiency in Jira and Confluence tools
- Ability to understand architecture and the design of the solution for requirement traceability and to ensure the solution performs as expected.
- Also assist with testing to ensure that the solution meets the requirements
- Identify, resolve, and/or escalate all issues that threaten the successful delivery of assigned initiatives.
Background Required:
- Minimum of 4 + years as a Business Analyst in a large complex environment
- Proven experience with Jira and confluence
- Proven experience with agile based technologies and proficiency in writing user stories
- Understanding in Hbase, Spark and Elastic Search an advantage as well as some basic Linux skills
- Ability to facilitate Workshop
- Problem solving - ability to investigate and propose solutions to problems including data analysis
