About the Company :

One of key clients in the Banking and Finance sector is looking for a business analyst to join their dynamic team in Melbourne. There is flexibility and option to work from interstate as well.

About the role :

Act as the conduit between project stakeholders and the Digital Accessibility team, ensuring projects are adequately resourced to meet project timelines. The role is open to all levels but ideally a Junior Business Analyst. The role will be of an operational role where the candidate will be supporting digital team with operation and sprint planning, maintaining agile processes.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Managing engagement and resourcing pipeline
  • Be capable of running capacity planning and engagement pipeline activities
  • Sprint planning, backlog grooming, capacity planning
  • Managing incoming Engagement Requests, including liaise with stakeholders to feed new initiatives into the Digital Accessibility pipeline
  • Communicating with stakeholders and setup of shaping/estimate sessions
  • Running overview sessions with support from technical team members for estimates
  • Ensuring all resourced work is appropriately funded and allocated to team members, including following up on codes for timesheets
  • Managing capacity planning for team
  • Responsible for analysis of project vs actual resourcing capacity and control of variances.


Escalation point for all project-related resourcing items

  • Managing project blockers
  • Escalate project concerns and/or conflict to the Manager for remediation.

Mandatory Key Skills Required:

  • Proven experience with Rally, Jira, Clarity or SmartSheet
  • Strong workflow management skills in an Agile environment
  • Strong ability to forecast demand and plan resourcing allocation accordingly
  • Be capable and confident when working with project stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and review risks in resourcing pipeline, proposing effective solutions and executing mitigation actions
  • Ability to report on pipeline data, including risks, capacity forecasts, and demand trends
