About the Role:
You will work within the testing team. Understand testing methodologies and execute complex test cases on multiple platforms. You will be responsible to plan, develop, and manage different types of testing at various stages.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test cases by analysing of specific requirements.
- Understanding and supporting the resolution of testing defects and collaborating with Subject Experts.
- Identify and enhance the process by automating solutions where possible and assists in implementation.
- Communicate with stakeholders and collaborate with the teams regarding project testing statuses, risks, and issues.
- Maintain awareness to the project managers to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Create processes to manage test and ensure delivery to all across the business.
Skills and Experience:
- Min 5+ years of experience in Testing of APIs (SOAP/XML, REST/JSON) and Micro Services
- Good Analytical and Communication skills and ability to work independently and also perform as part of a team
- Strong experience of working with SMEs and implementing their inputs as part of test process
- Experience of test delivery in Agile model
- Solid understanding of SOAP/RESTful web services and microservice architecture in Azure cloud
- Strong hands-on experience with automation of APIs using SOAPUI/Rest Assured or other API Test tools
- Strong knowledge of SQL Database and queries as part of validation
- Solid understanding of test process: Writing test strategy, test plan preparation and implementation, test case design, test scripting, defect management using JIRA and status reporting to stakeholders for testing services
- Extensive experience on functional, system integration, regression, performance and User Acceptance Testing
- Strong knowledge of Authentication and Authorisation mechanisms of APIs
- Good Knowledge on cloud Technologies like Azure
- Experience working with DevOps CI/CD pipeline environment
Desirable:
Basic understanding of firewalls and load balancers
Experience of testing Highly Available and Disaster Recovery scenarios
