Azure Big Data Cloud Automation Engineer

Our client, a Globally recognised consultancy seek to engage a an Experienced Azure Big Data Cloud Automation Engineer to be deployed on a number of projects within the Finance and Telecommunications sector

The ideal candidate will have prior demonstrated extensive client facing experience within the Australian market sector.

This is a key role within the project, you must be a clear and precise communicator with outstanding documentation skills as you will be liaising with business stakeholders of all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead role in Supporting the Azure platform
  • Designing developing and maintaining software to support Automation
  • Creating and utilizing tools to Monitor applications and services in the cloud :including System health indicators, trend identifications and anomaly detection
  • Participate in on-call escalation troubleshooting client issues
  • Implement concepts of Infrastructure as code (Iac)
  • Enhancing monitoring of systems, anticipating potential issues prior to becoming problematic
  • Provide analytics and forecasts
  • Analyze and Monitor performance and key metrics to optimize software and system performance

Essential Experience

  • 5+ years in an Azure Engineer position
  • 6 + Years working with Big Data
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or industry equivalent
