Our client is a large Australian enterprise looking for an Service Delivery Manager - Applications to join their team on a 6-month basis. The Service Delivery Manager - Applications will be responsible for developing plans and deliverying service outcomes that maximise the value and capabilities of the internal team and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the programs to achieve business transformation objectives
  • Define enabling architecture and implementation roadmaps
  • Design, Implement and operate enabling reliable, secure and compliant IT services
  • Implement a high performing, agile organization
  • Mentor direct reports and provide guidance for the resolution of critical issues that may impact established governance, policies, service levels or customer expectations
  • Contribution to life-cycle management and roadmap planning
  • Maintain the health of application assets across the development, configuration and support lifecycle, including the QA and integration of additional application assets arising from projects
  • Manage and develop service delivery in accordance with the agreed Service Catalogue and SLAs and to meet stakeholder expectations, including ensuring integration of Level 2 and Level 3 support, including through external service providers
  • Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to minimise the business impact of defects, periods of reduced application availability, or other application performance issues
  • Work with business stakeholders to prioritise and implement enhancements to a fixed overall program budget
  • Ensure necessary training, awareness, and experience levels are maintained to create a skilled and competent team of professionals with a strong customer focus
  • Develop, deliver a communication plan reporting performance against SLAs and agreed metrics

Required Skills:

  • Agile development and operations of digital solutions (Mobile, Portals, API's)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience managing IT operational teams
  • Experience with technology stack AWS, .Net, MS SQL, React/Angular JS, and API integration platforms
  • Experience with IT lifecycle planning
  • Effective management of resources to ensure financial targets are met
  • Leadership skills, providing guidance to all direct reports and nuturing talent
