Job Description

Peoplebank are recruiting for an IT Applications Services Team Leader to work on a long term contract based in Adelaide.

In this role, you will be accountable for managing the technical capability of the Applications Services Team. This includes managing a team of five (5) Applications Support Officers to deliver application support and development services to a range of internal customers

Responsibilities include:

  • Day-to-day operational management of Applications Support team, delivering applications services, including acting as a single point-of-contact and escalation for service delivery
  • Monitor work queues for Incidents, Service Requests, Problems, Changes and Minor Enhancements to ensure tickets are appropriately assigned to the team
  • Act as an applications technical SME, with a board range of application knowledge, particularly across the Microsoft solution stackg. SharePoint, Dynamics / D365, Power BI, SQL, SSRS, .NET, Power Platform
  • Lead the Applications Services Team to develop, implement and continuously improve contemporary DevOps related practices for applications support and development service delivery
  • Lead the solution design for application architectures and services
  • Contribute to the delivery of the ICT project portfolio with a focus on application implementations, customisations, and upgrades and the effective service transition of new applications services into the production environment
  • Contribute to change enablement as a key member of the ICT Change Advisory Board
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders to ensure appropriate ICT representation in key decisions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors who provide services to ICT

Skills and experience required :

  • Previous team leading / managerial experience, ideally of Application Support of Developers
  • Applications development and support experience across the Microsoft tech stack - SharePoint, Dynamics / D365, Power BI, SQL, SSRS, .NET, Power Platform
  • experience of driving a service excellence culture
