The successful candidate will be responsible for Agile Coaching, Training, Mentoring and Consulting. You will help delivery teams achieve success through coaching of the Team, Project Manager, Product Owner and other stakeholders on processes, behaviours, artifacts and engineering practices and drive any associated cultural change by gaining an understanding of people's concerns about their Delivery Methodology and helping them understand the vision and what it means to them.
It is expected that the role holder will most likely have a strong sense of accountability and responsibility, plus the following qualifications and experience:
- Demonstrable Delivery Leadership and Management experience, as part of the delivery of high-profile, large and complex projects, with evidence of participation in the full software development life cycle, Waterfall and Agile methodologies, Operational Usability, understanding customer expectations, and operational IT issues and trends
- Agile Delivery Methodology experience
- Coaching experience
- Training creation and facilitation experience
- Excellent understanding of software delivery principles
- Stakeholder and 3rd Party Management
The candidate will have skills in:
- Agile Delivery Methodologies such as Scrum, XP, Kanban, Lean, as well as more traditional methodologies such as Waterfall or RUP
- Approaches to Agile at scale such as SAFe or DAD
- Lean Startup concepts
- DevOps approaches and practices
- Software Delivery technical skills such as Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Automated Deployments, Automated Testing, Build Servers, Software Configuration Management, Emergent Design
