Our client is looking to hire a Actuary Analyst to provide analytical, problem solving and testing of actuarial calculations for their insurance business. The role requires you to work within the Project testing team that supports the migration to a new Policy Administration System

Key Accountabilties for this role will be

  • Performing analysis and review actuarial calculations
  • Conducting some degree of test execution
  • Reviewing complex calculation formulae and test scenarios that require support from the actuarial services, risk, product, tax, finance, the vendor and program/project
  • Explaining complex actuarial concepts to non-actuaries and management
  • Identifying risk-based approaches in all aspects of the calculations and testing

Key Skills

  • Qualified Actuary (or Actuary close to qualification)
  • Technical problem solving skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective time management through consulting/project experience
  • Systems/Data/Model testing experience, with PAS migration experience desirable
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and macro/VBA skills
