Active Directory Engineer & AD Subject Matter Expert positions

- Opportunity work for a large scale mining client
A large global mining client is seeking multiple Active Directory Engineers and AD Subject Matter Experts for initial 6-month contracts based in the Perth CBD.
Active Directory Engineer
Responsibilities include:
- Active Directory administration, troubleshooting & configuration;
- Manage and maintain Microsoft on-prem and cloud IAM environments;
- Assist with testing activities.
Required skills:
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Windows operating systems;
- Manage and maintain Microsoft on-prem and cloud IAM environments;
- Strong IT Fundamentals in systems and applications;
- Experience in the management of provisioning and deprovisioning of users on multiple computing platforms;
- Well experienced in Active directory administration and configuration;
- Knowledge of information systems, including both hardware and software components;
- Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, in a Windows 2012/16 landscape;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Azure AD.
AD Subject Matter Expert
Responsibilities include:
- Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration and appropriate troubleshooting steps;
- Group Policy administration, troubleshooting, and Problem Management for Identity Management environments.
Required skills:
- Must have strong knowledge in designing new AD environments including Forests, Domain controllers, AD sites and management of GPOs;
- Well versed with the ability to recommend and implement improvements to the Active Directory environment;
- Strong knowledge of databases, applications and their integration with Active Directory;
- Knowledge in planning and implementation of AD hardening as per Microsoft's recommendations;
- Well experienced in DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS, in a Windows 2012/16 landscape;
- Strong experienced in Microsoft Exchange and Azure AD;
- Strong scripting skills and knowledge of Windows PowerShell.
