Account Manager - Enterprise Sales

My client are an IT infrastructure provider, who focus on providing end to end solutions to large enterprises. They have experienced sustained growth and now operate in 20 countries across 4 different continents. They are considered a leading partner and business enabler in the areas of Network Infrastructure, IP Networks, Optical Networks, Broadcast Networks, Cloud & Data Centre, Network Security, Wireless Infrastructure, Microwave, Radio Access Networks and WIFI.

Due to the initial success of their Australian Business, They are now looking to hire a Account Manager who can support the Country Manager, building on their past success and driving the business forward.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Develop trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customers, stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Responsible for new customer acquisition and market development
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Operate as lead point of contact for all matters specific to Enterprise customers

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in Electronics / Telecommunications Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Minimum 2 years of proven track record of sales and account management in relevant industry
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skill
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to details
  • Written and verbal fluency in English

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience in development and execution of major accounts, delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of the Australian Telco and IT industry, customer relationship skills and business acumen
