Our client, a leader in the telecommunications industry has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Account Manager to join the team in a permanent capacity based in Sydney's North West.
The role will be responsible for selling Cloud Computing and Core Networking (Telco) solutions within existing customer environments and as such will also be responsible for identifying new opportunities in a business development capacity.
Additionally, it will be responsible for overseeing the internal account teams to ensure a seamless handover from sales to operations is achieved.
While the position will be working directly with customers, the successful candidate must be capable of establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with both external and internal partners.
In order to be considered for this position you must have:
- 7 years Sales/Account Management experience within Telecommunications (either on the Operator or Vendor side)
- Strong understanding of Cloud Computing and Core Networks in Telco's
- Proven experience in pooling resources from different areas of an organisation in order to deliver strong customer outcomes
- Exceptional business development skills coupled with excellent consultative selling skills.
- Strong communication skills with an eager, energetic and collaborative personality.
- Large enterprise environment experience
