AWS DevOps Engineer

A highly successful , global software company developing state of the art technology is seeking both a passionate and experienced AWS DevOps Engineer for a permanent role based centrally in Perth.
Please note: remote work will be considered initially but must be able to relocate eventually once the borders reopen in WA.
Responsibilities include:
- Ongoing monitoring of the client's AWS infrastructure
- Manage the server environment via scripting
- Work with development teams on release deployment processes
- Developing internal automation systems
- Optimise architecture, databases, servers & data processing
- Build and manage auto scaling architecture
Key skills:
- Work with various AWS services (EC2, RDS, AmazonMQ, MQTT)
- Experience working within DevOps environments
- MySQL and Redis experience
- Linux servers and management (bash)
- Must have knowledge of scripting languages
Desirable skills:
- Infrastructure as a code experience (Terraform or other)
- MySQL tuning and SQL queries
- PHP / NodeJs Development background
