Our Federal Government Client is seeking an APS6 Java Developer (Security & IAM) for their Information Security section.
This is a long-term contract of 12 months with 3x12-month extension option, located at our Client's Canberra location.
As the selected candidate, you will provide input and support to the following:
- The development of innovative solutions to meet business needs and better support our clients.
- Delivering system improvements to our Identity Access Management / Role Access Management (IAM/RAM) environment (SailpointIIQ)
- Managing feature and security upgrades
- Management of source code for our IAM/RAM system
- Developing our reporting capabilities
- Ensuring the overall health and reliability of our IAM/RAM implementation and architecture
- Ensuring our IAM/RAM environment meets current security requirements
To be successful in this role you should have:
- Strong Java development skills
- Experience with DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools
- Experience working in Agile teams undertaking both project and operational activities
- Experience in unit testing and test-driven development practices
- Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and skills with a variety of technologies including SailpointIIQ, Active Directory, Oracle eBusiness and Domino
It is desirable if you have:
- BeanShell and PowerShell scripting experience
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian who have the ability to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances.
