Our Federal Government Client is seeking an APS6 Java Developer (Security & IAM) for their Information Security section.

This is a long-term contract of 12 months with 3x12-month extension option, located at our Client's Canberra location.

As the selected candidate, you will provide input and support to the following:

  • The development of innovative solutions to meet business needs and better support our clients.
  • Delivering system improvements to our Identity Access Management / Role Access Management (IAM/RAM) environment (SailpointIIQ)
  • Managing feature and security upgrades
  • Management of source code for our IAM/RAM system
  • Developing our reporting capabilities
  • Ensuring the overall health and reliability of our IAM/RAM implementation and architecture
  • Ensuring our IAM/RAM environment meets current security requirements

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Strong Java development skills
  • Experience with DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools
  • Experience working in Agile teams undertaking both project and operational activities
  • Experience in unit testing and test-driven development practices
  • Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and skills with a variety of technologies including SailpointIIQ, Active Directory, Oracle eBusiness and Domino

It is desirable if you have:

  • BeanShell and PowerShell scripting experience

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian who have the ability to obtain Federal Government Security Clearances.
