Our Client:
Our client has a dominant presence within the superannuation industry, they are currently seeking a test automation engineer to join on either a 6-month contract or a permanent basis
About the role
You would be involved in,
- Contribute to the up-keep of Quality Assurance (QA) Test Strategies taking advantage of technological advancements in Automation and Performance Testing
- Lead contributions to Quality Assurance Test Tools selection including: evaluating, executing proof of concept, advising/reporting, and driving implementation
- Lead contributions to the design and development of test automation services using agreed organizational automation and manual tools
- Develop, maintain and execute test automation and performance test suites
- Lead contributions to the planning, estimation and resourcing of quality assurance activities
- Ensure Test Plans adequately consider systems, system integration, regression, security, performance and load testing where appropriate for each project
The successful applicant will have experience in:
- Experience in test Automation, Manual and Performance testing.
- Writing automation test strategies, test plans, and test summary results documentation
- Writing, designing, and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts
- Testing business applications, APIs, Web, and mobile applications (IOS and Android)
- Defining test environment requirements
- Defect management experience, writing defect cases, maintenance, triage, follow-up, prioritising, working closely with the vendor, re-testing
- Banking/Finance/Superannuation experience is a highly regarded
