Our Client

Our client, a $300M listed innovative and leading Fintech, who we have worked with exclusively for the past 12 years are currently looking to recruit a Sales Operations Lead to their office based in CBD.

The Role

You will be a Qualified Accountant with experience of working internally - across all aspects of accounting, tax, compliance, audit and statutory reporting. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, to cover a 12-month maternity leave:

We are looking to hire an Internal Accountant Lead who will:

  • Preparing periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries
  • Preparation of financial statements and statutory accounts for the group and dealing with auditors and financial reporting providers with regards to queries
  • Responsibility for the group's preparation of tax, FBT and BAS returns
  • Assist with group payroll obligations
  • Review and report on key business drivers to ensure ongoing performance
  • Ad hoc projects whereby relevant issues are identified and referred to the relevant stakeholders involved

What you will need:

  • Current Australian Qualified Accountant, either CA or CPA
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Preferred NetSuite or similar ERP experience
