This dynamic role will be responsible for:
- Lead planning, integration, and delivery of the Technology One Enterprise System Program.
- Maintain a unified roadmap covering technical, people, and process outcomes with time for stakeholder input and testing.
- Establish and lead governance forums for oversight and decision-making.
- Build stakeholder alignment and transparency through engagement and reporting.
- Lead high-performing, cross-functional teams aligned to strategic outcomes.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure accountability, value, and probity.
- Drive change, communication, and training strategies with measurable adoption.
- Mitigate change risks and build organisational resilience.
- Oversee program and project budgets to ensure value and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, Council policies, and relevant frameworks.
- Maintain transparency on vendor service levels and customization costs.
What will you need to be successful in this role?
- Proven experience managing large, complex multi-year programs (preferably ERP or ICT transformation) within public sector or similar environments.
- Demonstrated understanding of ERP systems and their application to local government business processes (e.g., finance, HR, payroll, asset management, customer service).
- Expertise in integrating multiple projects/modules into a coordinated program.
- Strong governance, vendor management, and contract administration experience within a probity-driven context.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to work effectively with, senior executives, staff, and community representatives.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead organisational change, training and adoption of new technology and processes.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, ICT, Project /Program Management, or related field.
- Formal program or project management certification (e.g., MSP, PRINCE2, PMP, PgMP, AgilePM).
