Duration: 12-Months + Highly likelihood of 12-month extension
Location: 26 Reddacliff St, Newstead (2 days WFH)
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve system issues across multiple environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain IT systems in line with technical specifications.
- Perform system upgrades and configuration changes.
- Monitor system performance, identify risks, and proactively prevent issues.
- Automate system management and contribute to standardised documentation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align technology with business requirements.
- Strong Linux systems administration experience (Red Hat preferred).
- Solid experience with virtualisation technologies (KVM and/or VMware).
- Scripting and automation expertise (Bash, Python) and experience with Ansible.
- Administration of large Oracle RDBMS environments.
- Understanding of secure system architecture in complex, critical environments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business terms.
- Experience with GE ADMS or other Distribution Management Systems.
- Exposure to operational technology (OT) environments.
- Understanding of electrical power or control systems.
