Information Security and Risk Expert Consultant
We are seeking an experienced Information Security and Risk Expert Consultant to join our large multinational company client. This role plays a key part in supporting the Information Security Management System (ISMS), driving risk identification and assessment, and providing expert security guidance to a wide range of stakeholders.
You will contribute to strengthening security assurance capabilities across ongoing digital transformation initiatives, including cloud migration programs, services delivered internally, and services provided by third parties and outsourcing partners.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver and support information security activities while ensuring alignment with business, technical, and governance stakeholders.
• Provide security consulting and act as the key liaison across technical teams, business units, vendors, and third-party partners.
• Implement and monitor security controls across systems and services, including those delivered by cloud providers and outsourced partners.
• Support security risk management, including risk assessments, policy deviations, mitigation planning, and third-party security reviews.
• Contribute to compliance and regulatory obligations, promoting security awareness and ensuring security controls are embedded in projects and transformation initiatives.
Required Skills:
• Demonstrated experience in Information Security related fields and/ or risk management
• Experience in developing and evaluating security solutions on diverse sets of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Sound understanding of security concepts to secure cloud-enabled and cloud-native security services
• Experience and understanding of various security tools to protect network, data, identity, and critical assets by enforcing various defence-in-depth methodologies
• Sound knowledge of IT security technology, architecture, and processes with profound knowledge of relevant industry standards (in particular ISO270xx, COBIT, etc.)
• Financial or Banking industry or large enterprise environment experience will be highly regarded
