Search Tips
In it's simplest format, the Search Engine will look for any of the words in the skills field, and match them with the position and location fields.
Advanced searching capabilities allow you to include
or exclude words and match words together.
Important
Leave one space only between words and do not include commas (,). The search field is not case sensitive.
This site has an Intelligent Alias Matching system that looks for and matches all commonly used/abbreviated terminology to ensure you get the maximum results to your search. For example if you run a search for IBM AS/400, the search will look for "AS/400" "AS 400" and "AS400".
To Include a "Key" Word
To include a word in your search, place a plus sign (+) directly in front of the word you wish to include. Do not leave a space between the plus sign and the word. ie. SAP +BAAN +ABAP.
To Exclude a "Key" Word
To exclude a word from your search, place a minus (-) sign directly in front of the word you wish to exclude. Do not leave a space between the minus sign and the word. ie. SAP BAAN -ABAP.
Please place all exclude "KEY" words at the end of your list!
To Match Words That Must Appear Together ie. "Visual Basic"
To search for two words together, place double quotes (" ") around the words. ie. "LOTUS NOTES"
What is a "Key" Word?
A keyword is any word you wish to pinpoint in your search. It may be a skill you have, a company you wish to work for, or the name of a particular project you want to look for.
Example Search
Will return any Analyst/Programmer OR Business Analyst positions in either Sydney OR Melbourne requiring Oracle V8, PL/SQL, Web technology and WINDOWS NT, but will exclude those positions requiring UNIX experience.
