It’s now just one week until we change over to a consolidated national weekly pay cycle which will streamline our payroll process and deliver a range of significant benefits to you as a Peoplebank contractor.

Please see below for a reminder of all the important details about the pay cycle changes…

What do I need to know?

If you are currently on a weekly or fortnightly pay cycle with us, from the 24th of November 2008 the following changes will apply…

  • For all timesheets that are submitted directly to Peoplebank, the cut-off time will be COB MONDAY.
  • The EFT transmission date will be every THURSDAY, however you will need to allow 1 to 2 business days from the transmission (EFT) date for payments to reach your bank account.
  • If you log your time worked on client-based time sheeting systems, the only change is that the EFT date will be every Thursday.
  • If you are contracting through us via a Management Company, the only change is that we will EFT your pay to your nominated Management Company every Thursday.
  • If you miss the timesheet deadline of COB Monday, your pay will be processed the following Thursday.

What does this mean for me as a current fortnightly contractor?

The consolidated weekly pay cycle will deliver a range of benefits, including…

  • You will be paid more frequently, up to six days sooner! Now when you submit your timesheet by COB Monday you will be paid that Thursday.
  • If you miss the timesheet cut-off, you will not have to wait as long to be paid.
  • You will enjoy reduced complexity and increased payroll efficiency as a result of the streamlined national pay cycle.

What does this mean for me as a current weekly contractor?

If you are currently on our weekly pay cycle, it will be business as usual, with only some small changes (as above) in addition to some exciting service improvements, including…

  • Reduced confusion around timesheet cut-off dates and times.
  • An extended deadline for timesheet submission, you will have until COB on Monday to submit your timesheet, rather than the current deadline of Midday.
  • Importantly, you will continue to be paid weekly.

What do I need to do?

  • Set a reminder in your calendar and make sure you submit your weekly/fortnightly timesheet by COB on Monday 24th of November 2008 for EFT processing by Thursday 27th of November 2008.
  • From the 1st of December 2008, download and use our latest weekly timesheet and pay cycle documents by clicking here
  • Be aware of how these changes will impact any direct debit arrangements you might have set up from your nominated bank account.
