At 7am this morning Millers Point was buzzing. Barangaroo was crowded with cyclists, The SMILE Foundation, families, Peoplebank staff and the Honorable Mr Tony Abbott.  Breakfast was served and the platform was set for a mammoth journey ahead - the Xstrata Cycle for SMILE!

John Egan and Chris Reddin jumped into the Winnebago’s to start the adventure of a lifetime as the first team of support crew to lead out of Sydney.

The Xstrata Cycle for SMILE - Supporting Medical Innovation for Life Enhancement

On Thursday 30th June, six everyday Australians are embarking on a ride around Australia. Leaving Sydney, they will cycle a total of 80 days averaging 220km per day, that’s 15,700km in total!

All in support of SMILE.
