Recruiter streamlines administration with software as a service

AUSTRALIA’S largest IT&T recruiter, Peoplebank, is using a software-as-a-service-based front-office applicant tracking platform from US firm Bullhorn.

Bullhorn’s staffing and recruiting software will manage Peoplebank’s front-office activities and integrate them into its back-office system.

The platform is expected to help ease administration for Peoplebank’s 200-plus staff at six offices in Australia.

Peoplebank chief operating officer Peter Acheson said the platform would provide the business with greater insight, responsiveness and flexibility to respond to customers’ staffing needs.

The Peoplebank installation is Bullhorn’s largest Australian implementation. Peoplebank has signed up for 175-plus seats.

The implementation, including face-to-face and online training, is under way and is scheduled to go-live early next year.

Mr Acheson said the solution would deliver economies within six months via boosted productivity in key areas, such as reducing time spent on paperwork by 20 per cent and time spent on reporting by up to 90 per cent, as well as getting good candidates quickly to employers.

The software gives Peoplebank complete visibility into every sales and recruiting activity, from job order to placement, including a powerful reporting engine.

In addition, Bullhorn integrates Peoplebank’s current back office systems, Microsoft Dynamics GP and Personnel Agency Management from Professional Advantage, to its front-office solution.
