Peoplebank boosts earnings

ICT recruitment specialist Peoplebank has booked its third annual increase in after-tax profit for the year to June 2008.

The company today reported that net profit after tax for the 12 months to June jumped 22 per cent year-on-year to reach $5.3 million.

Peoplebank’s revenue grew 109 per cent during the 2008 financial year compared with the previous corresponding period to reach $290 million.

The company’s revenue growth was boosted by its recent acquisition of rival Ambit in February. The results included 20 weeks trading.

The combined entity’s annualised revenue was estimated at $488 million.
